Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery, which is proud to be a part of the William Grant and Sons family, is looking for bold, curious, collaborative, energetic and motivated individuals to join our Visitor Experience Team. Our distillery, the first in New York since Prohibition, is rooted in history and ingenuity. Our team’s bold, pioneering spirit permeates every part of our craft. We obsess over the quality of the visitor experience, just as much as we obsess over the quality of our liquid. Our visitor experiences are tailored to feed curious minds with interesting knowledge and new skills and help individuals develop their discerning palate. The Visitor Experience Associate is a brand advocate and supportive team member responsible for executing all operational functions of our shop, bar, bookable experiences, and events.  In keeping with health and safety protocols due to COVID-19, our team members and visitors are our top priority as we follow all NYS and CDC guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

As a brand advocate and supportive team member you are responsible for executing all operational functions of our visitor center, bar, bookable experiences and events.  Engage guests with a positive energy and deliver exceptional experience to all visitors and educate them on Hudson Whiskey NY and Tuthilltown Spirit brands and our history through tours, tastings, off-site tastings and other customer engagements.  Must follow and execute standard operating procedures for bar and retail for daily set-up of indoor and outdoor service, operation, cleaning, re-stocking and closing.  The ability to accurately operate cash registers, manage financial transactions and process shipments is essential.

Our ideal candidate will embody a strong work ethic, values, and professionalism and the ability to work as part of a team.  An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the spirits industry is a plus along with an enthusiastic, friendly and positive attitude.  Customer service is key. 21+ years of age and hours will include holidays and weekends.
